About the challenge
ACMHacks x GraceHacks is a hackathon hosted by ACM and GraceHacks at UCSC. From November 9th to 11th, students from across the Bay Area will come together on UC Santa Cruz's campus to collaborate and bring their innovative software ideas to life. The event is filled with immersive workshops and has tons of opportunities to win cool prizes.
ACMHacks is hosted by ACM at UCSC, a student run organization that strives to create a supportive and inclusive community for people of all backgrounds and skill levels who are passionate about computer science to learn and network. Our hackathon features guest speakers, various workshops, and is a great opportunity to work on projects, win prizes, and learn about some cool computer science tools and concepts. Whether you're a seasoned coder or just getting started, ACMHacks is the place to turn your tech dreams into reality.
GraceHacks is a hackathon-based organization at UCSC. The aim of GraceHacks is to foster a welcoming and supportive hackathon environment for students of diverse and underrepresented genders within STEM fields. We believe that anyone has the power to create something as long as they believe in themselves and feel confident in their ability to learn and improve their technical skills.
If you choose to participate in both prize tracks, you will be eligible for both ACMHacks and GraceHacks prizes. There will also be select combined ACMHacks x GraceHacks prizes you may be eligible for. If you choose to only participate in one side of the event, then you will only be eligible for that event's prizes.
